HelloFresh is a popular meal kit delivery service that makes it easy for homeowners to cook meals. As a subscriber, you will enjoy fresh and affordable foods that you can prepare at home for a family of up to four people.

It also gives you recipes that are easy to follow and have lots of nutritional information. An advantage is that subscribers get charged $7.49 to get personalized meal plans and new cooking techniques.

HelloFresh allows its subscribers to cancel, skip, or pause subscriptions for a specific period. You can skip your delivery if you do not want to receive a box every week.

Skipping deliveries can only happen for up to eight weeks at a time.

Alternatively, you can pause the service for an extended period. When you pause, the date on which you made the changes will turn red on the app’s calendar.

But if you do not want to receive meals anymore, you have the option to cancel Hello Fresh altogether.

How to cancel HelloFresh in a few simple steps

To cancel your HelloFresh subscription:

  • Visit the HelloFresh log in page.
  • Log in to your account.
  • Click on your name. It is located at the top part of the page.
  • Next, select Account Settings.
  • On the Plan Settings page, select the subscription plan that you want to cancel.
  • Select the plan by clicking on Manage.
  • Click on Cancel My Subscription.

If possible, answer the survey displayed on your screen. It allows the service to know your thoughts, experiences, and how to improve it.

You can switch your plan to receive meal plans either fortnightly or monthly, instead of canceling your subscription.

Once you cancel your subscription, a message will appear on your screen confirming the service has deactivated your subscription.

You will receive a confirmation email affirming the cancellation of the subscription.

When making changes to your account (pausing, skipping, or canceling), ensure to make them before midnight and five days or on a Tuesday before your next scheduled delivery.

HelloFresh does not process user cancellations if requested after the cut-off date.

HelloFresh allows you to cancel your free box offer. But if you would like to receive a free box only, then you have to stop your subscription once your weekly cut-off date ends.

That is in the week that you get your free box and before the next weekly cut-off date.

Also, if you discontinue your plan after your cut-off date after receiving your free box, the service will charge you, and you will get a second box before the cancellation takes effect.

How many weeks can you skip with Hello Fresh?

HelloFresh allows subscribers to skip deliveries for up to eight weeks at a time. If you skip your delivery and have a credit or multi-week discount, it will remain intact.

It will later apply to the weeks that you continue using the service or make an order. But if it expired before skipping, then you will not use it.

Can you cancel HelloFresh after payment?

When you place an order, you are subscribing to the service and agreeing to receive a meal plan continually.
