It is also important to ensure that the Wi-Fi connection or the router is working correctly so your camera can function as required. If the problem persists, consider resetting your camera and make sure the device is in setup or ready mode.

- Fast-flashing Blue. The camera is ready for a Wi-Fi connection.

How to scan a QR code on an Ezviz camera?
- Open the Ezviz app and sign in to your account.
- On your Home screen, tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner. This will take you to the Scan QR Code interface.
- Scan the QR code on the body of your camera (a device sticker located at the bottom or back) or on the Quick Start Guide cover. You can also manually enter the serial number of your camera.
- Follow the wizard to add your camera device to the Ezviz account.
Activating the Ezviz Video and Picture encryption function
To get an Ezviz camera to recognize QR codes, you will need to enable the Video and Picture encryption function.
A verification code is required before you can view the live videos, alarm pictures and record files. The Ezviz camera verification code is marked on the bottom or back of your camera device.
Enabling this encryption feature is as follows;
- On your Ezviz app, go to the My Device interface.
- Tap on the picture of the device you want to enter the Device Information.
- Tap the button on the right side of the Video and Picture Encryption.
- You will get the Ezviz verification code in your email; enter it on the pop-up screen.
- Tap OK to enable encryption.
How to unlock your Ezviz account?
If your account is locked, you will have to wait for about 20 minutes and then do as follows;
- Click the Forgot Password on the login page of the Ezviz mobile app.
- Enter your phone number, email address or username that you used to register your account.
- You will receive a 4-digit Ezviz verification code that you will use to complete your password recovery.
